Lifetime / VPN

Hi! I have two questions.

I had a monthly subscription which I cancelled auto renew - it expires 12/2/25.

I just registered my license for my lifetime license and it shows I have lifetime but still shows 12/2/25 as the expiration. I want to make sure that everything is ok?

Second question is do you recommend using a VPN when downloading? Thanks!
