Feature Request

  • Make it easy to download from YouTube playlists.

  • Also, create clear instructions regarding the promised bulk download.

  • Also, expand the languages – there are far too few.

  • Also, give an option to not create a separate folder for each downloaded video. There are so many folders to go through just to get to the videos.

  • If download fails, it sometimes gives an option to restart it, but too often it just shows “completed” with no video actually downloaded. It would also be helpful to keep the video link for such videos – otherwise I manually have to search the zillion folders for videos and over 60% of the time they are empty!

    Hi there, thank you so much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback with us! Here are our responses to your points:

    • YouTube Playlists: The latest Keeprix installer already supports fetching entire YouTube playlists. If it is not working properly for you, could you please provide the specific playlist link so we can verify it on our end?

    • Bulk Downloading: Currently, multi-threaded downloading is temporarily unavailable. However, this feature is already in our future development roadmap.

    • Language Support: We would love to expand our languages! Could you please specify which languages you would like to see added?

    • Folders & Download Errors: We have officially recorded your suggestions regarding the folder creation option, as well as the bug report about the false "completed" status and keeping failed links. Our team will look into these, so please stay tuned for our future updates!
